Platon Lebedev announced he would not participate in any appeal filed with the Moscow Municipal Court because of the impossibility of being given a fair trial. The Moscow Municipal Court has already made numerous unlawful decisions concerning his term in custody for two years, and has ignored the Constitution and a ruling of the Constitutional Court. Instead, Mr. Lebedev explained he is prepared to appear before the Russian Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
