The Meshchansky Court analyzed the admissibility of testimony presented by witnesses called by the defence and documents contained in the case materials that were seized during illegal searches performed in 2003 as the reading of the verdict in the case of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev enters its third week. During the first day of the second week of the reading of the verdict in the trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the panel of judges extended the working day to six hours, double the time spent each day on reading the verdict during the first week.
