Ex-Tycoon Khodorkovsky Jailed in 'Unacceptable' Conditions – Lawyer
Mikhail Khodorkovsky is being held in a cell with 15 other inmates in conditions that are "unacceptable", one of his lawyers said. Karina Moskalenko, a lawyer for the founder of Yukos, said she had filed a complaint with the prison director about the prison conditions. Khodorkovsky is being denied a newspaper, and the cell has been supplied a black-and-white TV set that does not work properly and a refrigerator that is too small for 16 people. "It is unacceptable. It is a violation of the rights of prisoners," Moskalenko said.
