Interview with Mikhail Khodorkovsky on his Hunger Strike
Mikhail Khodorkosky responded to questions from the press which were conveyed to him in the pretrial detention center by his lawyers. When asked of Yuri Kalinin’s (Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service) comments doubting Mr. Khodorkovsky had actually gone on a hunger strike, Khodorkovsky said the following: “So much has already been said about the credibility of Mr. Kalinin's words, and I will not repeat that. I can only add that as long as I share the cell with 15 other people (mainly young guys aged 20 to 25), they will not starve.”
