Khodorkovsky and Lebedev Would be Sent to a Labor Settlement Within 20 Days

Correctional facilities director Vladimir Davydov stated Khodorkovsky and Lebedev would be sent to a labor settlement within 20 days. It is still unknown which settlement they will be sent to, but some speculate that Khodorkovsky might be sent to serve his jail term in Nizhni Tagil, a labor settlement located in the Ural Mountains and accessible by a two-day train ride. This facility is specially established for government officials and high profile individuals as well as for police. Every cell is divided by sections each hold 10 prisoners. The settlement houses 200 inmates in total. In his first year in prison, Khodorkovsky may be allowed 15 minutes worth of daily telephone calls and 10 minutes worth of meeting time.
