The public has its say about parole
Khodorkovsky’s supporters demonstrate on Chita’s Theatre Square
“We’d like to determine public opinion about Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s release of parole,” Marina Savateyeva of the local Khodorkovsky support committee told the Interfax-Siberia news agency. The protest will begin at 5 pm, local time.
“We shall be collecting signatures in support of Khodorkovsky,” commented Savateyeva, adding that those demonstrating had hopes that he would indeed be let out of prison.
