Vasily Aleksanyan gets support from legal community

St. Petersburg lawyers from the bureau ‘Grigoryev and Partners’ appealed for a general action in support of Vasily Aleksanyan.
The initiator of the action, Nikita Fedorov, told Sobcor®ru that the idea is to organise something similar to the all-Russian action in support of motorist Oleg Sherbinsky, who was charged with Mikhail Evdokimov’s death, the Altai governor. Sherbinsky’s 4-year prison sentence was altered only after society’s interferences. He was acquitted and declared innocent.

The lawyers appeal for a protest action demanding a change to the measure of restraint of terminally ill Aleksanyan in exchange for a written undertaking not to leave the country. All of the protesters will show their support throughout the protest period, which may take place in the days of the trial, by wearing white ribbons on their cars or on their clothes.
