The Ingodinsky court gets work from Moscow
It has begun examining a complaint the Basmanny court refused to consider.
On Tuesday the Ingodinsky district court in Chita started to examine an extensive complaint submitted by Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s defence team. The thirty points it lists refer to the action and failure to act of the investigators, the order in which documents were added to the case file, and so on.
The complaint was first submitted to the Basmanny district court in Moscow. On 24 January 2008, however, Judge Mushnikova ruled that the complaint be transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ingodinsky court in Chita.
The day’s work ended with an adjournment until 2 pm (local time) on Thursday.
