Two articles violated. Three people involved in the case.

Lebedev’s defence filed charges against officers in the prosecutor's office.

Earlier, Lebedev’s defence sent an offence report, in which it requested filing a criminal case against three officers in the Prosecutor General’s office (Grin V. Y., Lakhtin V.A. and Karimov S.K.), with the chief prosecutor Y. Chaika. The lawyers state that the prosecutors’ actions violate elements of article 315 (failure to implement a ruling) and article 286 (abuse of authority) of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation.

On July 2, Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s defence forwarded a similar offence report to the chief prosecutor. However, this pointed to violations of only one article – article 315 of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation. The defence for the Yukos ex-head did not ask to file a criminal case against prosecutor Lakhtin.
